An inspired cocktail tells a story, creates a mood. A good cocktail takes time to create and should be savored, enabling you to relax, enjoy, and be lifted by the pure flavor of the ingredients. A favorite cocktail of Cirka Distilleries brand ambassador and 2016 winner of the "Canadian Made with Love" national mixology competition, Romain Cavelier, is the Petit Maghreb, which features pure and simple ingredients and was inspired by his travels to the Mediterranean coast.

Petit Maghreb

Ingredients:

1.50 oz Cirka Vodka
1.00 oz fig syrup
3 dashes of orange bitters
0.12 oz orange blossom water
0.75 oz lemon juice
0.50 oz egg white

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a shaker. Shake firmly without ice. Shake again with ice. Filter and pour into a pre-chilled martini glass. Garnish with a sprig of dill.
