With Summer rapidly approaching its time to switch our cocktails from warm and savory to light and crisp. I truly believe there is absolutely nothing more refreshing than and ice cold beer on a hot summer day. The first beer at a BBQ really solidifies the season for me.

This cocktail features a beer from one of my favorite breweries, Anchor Brewing. The crisp Anchor Summer Beer is a light American-style filtered wheat beer. Paired with the sweet, citrusy addition of Peach Schnapps and OJ you'll get a beverage that is just the right amount of sweet. Perfect for sipping poolside or at your summer parties, the Anchor Peach is my official cocktail of Summer.

Anchor Peach

Ingredients

• 1 bottle of original Anchor Summer Beer
• 1 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
• 3 oz orange juice (no pulp)
• slice of orange

Directions

1. Fill a large glass about half way with the Anchor Summer Beer
2. Add the schnapps and orange juice
3. Stir this mixture then fill the glass up with the rest of the Anchor Summer Beer
4. Add a slice of orange to the glass for garnish.
