Art Beyond the Glass returns for its fifth year on Sunday, June 26 at Resident DTLA. The event organized by Zahra Bates and Daniel Djang presents the creative side of the local Los Angeles bar community. Proceeds from the event this year benefit Global Inheritance the non-profit organization based in Los Angeles which educates people about global issues, inspiring them to take action.

Art Beyond the Glass also goes national this year and will have events in Oklahoma City on July 17, Chicago August 14 and Las Vegas in the Fall. But catch them here on their home turf on June 26.

Last year as years past, many brands have supported Art Beyond the Glass which showcases bartenders other talents. Think photography, music and more. This year Matt Robold, the Rumdood, will host the afternoon event from 2-7 p.m. The all-inclusive ticket includes drinks, food, entertainment and art. Barkeeper will have a popup store for the first time and guest have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets (last year’s packages were amazing!), art, bid on silent auction items including rare spirits.

Live music

I have attended almost all the past Art Beyond the Glass events and it’s one of the greatest parties of the year for the LA Cocktail Community. Tickets are still available so I hope to see you there! I’m looking forward to checking out more live music and Resident is a particularly great venue to catch live acts.
