Just last week, Chelsea welcomed the popular East Village gastropub and cozy neighborhood eatery, Cooper’s Craft & Kitchen. To celebrate the opening of the Chelsea location, the owners of Cooper's teamed up with three of the state’s top breweries to collaborate on a limited edition IPA beer exclusively for the pub.
Last month, the brewers from Peekskill Brewery, Barrier Brewing and Greenport Harbor Brewery congregated at Greenport’s new premises in Long Island to develop a beer recipe. They came up with a beer that has a hoppy flavor loved by the everyday craft beer aficionado, but also a lightness on the mouth that will appeal to those who are not as accustomed to drinking high percentage beverages. The 7% IPA consists of centennial, Apollo and other hops.
This exclusive brew is just 1 of the 24 craft beers they have on rotation on tap, in addition to four craft ciders… lest we forget craft is in the name. Pair any of these with Chef Neville’s takes on pub favorites, like Craft Beer-Battered Fish Tacos or Handmade Pretzels served with Beer-infused Cheese Dip. If beer isn’t for you, then try one of the concoctions off of the drink menu featuring original cocktails and twists on classics, this will surely do the trick.
