Sage Regan

1/2 Granny Smith apple
2 fresh sage leaves
1.5 oz (45 ml) Chase Marmalade Vodka
.75 oz (22.5 ml) La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Dry Vermouth
.5 oz (15 ml) Gran Duque D’Alba Brandy de Jerez
2 dashes Dale DeGroff’s Pimento Aromatic Bitters
Long swath of apple peel with 2 sage leaves, as garnish
Core the apple and hollow most of it out. Poke holes through it.
Muddle 2 sage leaves with vodka and vermouth in a mixing glass. Add the brandy and bitters and stir over ice. Strain through the apple into a chilled cocktail glass. Add the garnish.
