Cruzan Rum has established the Island Spirit Fund in efforts to provide natural disaster relief for both short-term recovery and long-term stability through grants to local organizations, and to ensure that no community has to weather the storm alone.

Created in the aftermath of the destruction caused by last year’s Hurricane Maria, the Island Spirit Fund is dedicated to supporting disaster relief efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands and across the United States, helping rebuild and renew communities impacted by storms. By listening directly to affected communities’ physical and emotional needs, the Island Spirit Fund will take a customized approach to providing relief including, but not limited to, nourishment, supplies and volunteer support.

Cruzan will also absorb the cost of all transactional fees associated with all donations to the Island Spirit Fund, so that 100% of donors’ generosity goes directly to communities in need.

2 1/2 parts Cruzan® Estate Diamond® Light Rum

1/2 Lime Wedges

7-10 leaves Mint, Fresh

2 tsp Sugar

1 part Soda Water

Honey Syrup

Bitters

Method

Lightly muddle Mint with Honey Syrup and Lime in a pint glass. Add Rums, Bitters and Ice. Lightly shake. Top with Soda Water and a bouquet of Mint for garnish.
