Blended Scotch whisky brand Cutty Sark has unveiled a rather slick 33 year old bottling that focuses upon the famous Art Deco period of the 1920s and early 1930s. It is a limited edition release available in just 3,456 bottles and associated packaging.

The Cutty Sark 33 – Art Deco Limited Edition is tied to celebrating a time when this whisky label worked its way into the emerging American cocktail culture. It is the oldest whisky ever released by Cutty Sark and was created by the brand’s master blender Kristeen Campbell.

The bespoke bottle of this release, according to those behind it, was designed especially for this Scotch expression. It is “decorated with sunburst and geometric designs in the style symbolic of this significant era. Presented in a piano black wooden box, the limited edition set also contains two decorated glasses and a 32 page book which provides an insight into the Art Deco period.”

Bottled at 41.7% ABV, the 33-year-old whisky is pricing around £650 ($1,020).
