index Brown-Forman has announced the launch of a new limited-edition whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Rested Tennessee Rye. A follow-up to another successful limited release, 2012’s Jack Daniel’s Unaged Tennessee Rye, the new Rested Rye is crafted from a mashbill of 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. According to Jack Daniel’s master distiller Jeff Arnett, the whiskey was rested for “two cycles of the Tennessee seasons” in new, lightly toasted and charred barrels. Debuting in select markets this month, Jack Daniel’s Rested Rye is 80 proof and will retail at $49.99 a 750-ml.

index Beam Inc.’s Skinnygirl brand has added a pair of extensions to its ready-to-drink cocktails range—Skinnygirl Sweet’arita and Skinnygirl Sparkling Margarita. Sweet’arita features the same blend of Tequila and citrus as the brand’s Skinnygirl Margarita, but with added sweetness, while the Sparkling Margarita is a bubbly spin on the classic cocktail. Both 19.9-proof offerings are under 100 calories per serving and retail for around $12.99 a 750-ml. The pair bring the total Skinnygirl portfolio to 21 cocktails, wines and vodkas.

index California’s Monument Valley Distillers has released Duke Kentucky Straight Bourbon, a new craft whiskey named for film star John Wayne. Inspired by a 1960s Bourbon bottling from John Wayne’s private collection, Duke Bourbon ($34.99 a bottle) is a small-batch whiskey aged in heavily charred American oak barrels. Rolling out into select markets this May, the new entry marks the second offering in Monument Valley’s Duke range, joining the limited edition Duke Special Reserve Brandy.

index Wild Turkey has also created limited edition Wild Turkey Diamond Anniversary, honoring legendary master distiller Jimmy Russell’s 60 years in the industry. Diamond Anniversary will be available from May to August in the visitor center and nationwide later this summer at a suggested retail price of $124.99.

Grey Goose Le Melon, which will retail at $30 a 750-ml., is made with 100% natural essence from rare Cavaillon melons sourced from Provence. 1800 Milenio Bottle Shot Proximo Spirits’ 1800 Tequila has introduced 1800 Milenio, an ultra-premium extra-aged offering. Matured for five years and then finished in French Cognac casks for four months, 1800 Milenio is characterized by vanilla, cinnamon and spice notes. The 40%-abv entry will be available at retail in select markets this spring, priced at $125 a 750-ml. This year’s launch marks 1800’s second edition of Milenio, the first of which was produced in 2000.

index Bacardi is adding a new flavor extension, Mango Fusion, to its flagship rum brand. Billed as a fusion of mango with a hint of orange, the newcomer will retail at around $15 a 750-ml., and will also come in 50-ml., 200-ml., 375-ml., 750-ml., 1-liter and 1.75-liter sizes.
