The South may not get snow but there’s no reason to deprive yourself of an icy, bourbon-soaked cranberry cocktail this winter. This is one of those party drinks that elicits genuine joy in people, especially during the holidays. It’s festive, yummy, and most importantly, strong. I’d even consider putting the pitcher right in the middle of the table and passing it around like the gravy.
Frozen Southern Cranberry Cocktail – serves 4
6 ounces Maker’s 46 bourbon
3 ounces Pama pomegranate liqueur
1 can frozen cranberry concentrate
2 ounces fresh squeezed lime juice
5 cups ice
Directions
Combine the bourbon, pomegranate liqueur, frozen cranberry juice, lime juice, and ice in a blender. Mix until smooth. Serve from a pitcher and garnish with a lime.
