We all have our own version of what a winter wonderland looks like. Perhaps you have a vision of a small town blanketed with fresh snow and wandering reindeer. Maybe it’s a small chateau nestled in the woods with a roaring fire. It could even be the top of a mountain with a ski run all to yourself. Those places all sound lovely but if there isn’t a winter cosmopolitan somewhere in the scene then the picture just isn’t quite complete! This minty tart cosmo is a classy cocktail for all your winter festivities…snow or no snow.

Winter Cosmopolitan
2 ounce Three Olives pomegranate vodka
2 ounces Ocean Spray cranberry juice
½ ounce Cointreau orange liqueur
¼ ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
¼ fresh lime juice
6 mint leaves to muddle
Fresh mint garnish

Directions
In a pint glass or measuring pitcher, combine the vodka and mint leaves. Muddle the mint leaves until the vodka turns a slightly green hue. Strain the mixture into a martini shaker filled with ice, and then add the vodka, cranberry juice, orange liqueur, and orange juice. Shake until well mixed and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with mint leaves.
