Rum Stuff I find looking for other Rum Stuff

Two readers love this post.
I have been tweeting with @ or what ever we do, found Blackwater Distilling and Picaroon Rum. The Rum being made by Blackwater. It is looking more and more imperative that I send an emissary to the Easy coast area, as they are a hotbed of distilling goodness... Hope to tell you more about Blackwater and Picaroon.
The fine folks at Rougaroux Rum (Donner Peltier Distillers) are sharing a blog from us about them... Folk we LOVE when you share our articles, feel free. Please try to supply a link or mention of us anywhere you make speak Rum. We also LOVE when distillers share a bit of rum with us so I can tell you more!
I am so sorry I am late with this (June 20) but one of the earliest American Made Rums I had found lost a great partner in that business. My sympathies..:
Our sweet little dog has passed away. It was sudden & unexpected. We will miss her so much. She almost always accompanied us to work at the distillery. We are heartbroken.

On the home front. Just letting you know, I have begun the more scholarly investigation into RUM. I am in the midst of reading three books in fact that I hope will enlighten me more about the History, People and perhaps Politics of Rum both from the far past to the very present. I'll be going over these volumes in the next few blogs so I can let you know MORE
