The Summer Garden cocktail came from a session with some of Miami's top bartenders who were encouraged to get creative with a plethora of ingredients, and the creations came out in quick succession. Bartenders present in the brainstorm were Ben Potts, Vanessa Hulsey, Ezra Pattek, Phillip Khandehrish, Eddie Fuentes, Randy Perez, and Alex Velasquez, Benjamin Carlotto and Gui Jaroschy.

Tea is a great summer mixer as it has many nuances that complement gin. The bright notes and refreshing finish from Rutte Celery Gin marries perfectly with lemongrass and ginger tea to build out this summer quencher.

This cocktail is simple in that everything is in the shaker. There is no muddling or any complicated build, just shake and strain. You could build this in a long highball glass or in a pitcher to share with friends.

Ingredients:
2.0 oz. Rutte Celery Dry Gin
2.0 oz. lemongrass ginger tea
2 slices of cucumber
2 mint leaves
1.0 oz honey water (2:1 honey to water)

Directions:
Shake all ingredients and double strain into a Coupette or Martini glass
Garnish with a cucumber slice and mint leaves.
