Today, we toast to the Toasted Marshmallow (see what we did there?)

In honor of Toasted Marshmallow Day, we are heading outdoors. We want to know: are you planning a camping trip before the summer ends? If you are, listen closely. Bringing booze to a campsite can be a tricky maneuver. You can only carry so much in a hiking backpack and no one has time to lug around heavy bottles of liquor and a plethora of ingredients. That’s why we want to share these pre-mixed camping cocktails with you. They’ll make your life much simpler—plus, they’ll make your scaryc ampfire stories that much more frightening.
Campfire Sangria: (1 jar)
- 2 peaches, sliced
- 8-10 strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of white or red grapes
- 1 (750ml) bottle of white wine
- 1 (750ml) bottle of vodka
- 1 liter of Fresca (or a soda of your choice)
Fill a mason jar with the fruit. Pour in vodka ¼ of the way up the jar. Fill the rest of the jar with the wine. Set aside the extra booze. Chill sangria overnight or for a few hours. Pack up the sangria concentrate, bottle of Fresca, remaining wine and a pitcher (or other large container) in a cooler or insulator bag. When you’re ready to drink at your campsite, mix all three together and serve.

Rob Roy in a flask: (1 flask’s worth)
- 5 oz. blended scotch
- 1 ½ oz. sweet vermouth
- 1 ½ oz. water
- 5 dashes of Angostura bitters
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir. Funnel the mixture into your flask and seal. Sip straight from your flask or pour into a cup with a few pieces of ice.

Rustic Rum Punch: (1 pitcher’s worth)
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 cups simple syrup
- 3 cups dark rum
- 4 cups orange juice
- 4 splashes bitters
- splash of grenadine syrup
Mix together all ingredients in a large pitcher. Pour into a travel gallon jug or individual mason jars. Enjoy once you’ve unpacked camp.

Baileys Dipped Toasted Marshmallows:
- Marshmallows
- Baileys Irish Cream
- A campfire
Toast your marshmallows and then dip them in a warm cup of Baileys and devour.
