Note: This is not medical advice, and I am definitely not a medical professional. You are an adult and should know better than to get medical advice from a booze blog. Now, go enjoy responsibly.

Flu Season.

It's coming for you. It is only a matter of time. And if you're a night owl or a bar fly, it's a matter of sooner rather than later before you wake up a fevery, achy mess, completely useless to the world besides maybe refilling your trashcan with kleenex and re-watching Twin Peaks on Netflix.

You are young and virile, though, so you'll be back on top in a week, two tops. But what about that mucousy blackhole—what do you do during the flu?

I always heard that a glass of wine a day is good for your health. Logically then, two cocktails is even better…so I went ahead and created two to get you through the flu.

First, the Dayquilroni is an iridescent, non-drowsy take on the classic 1/3-1/3-1/3 Negroni recipe. And for the evening, I created the Lights Out Old Fashioned, a calming and cyan-hued update, which includes herbal tea-infused simple syrup and a touch of NyQuil.

Go fix these up and get comfortable. Season two is really weird.
