For the 89th anniversary of the Kentucky Derby’s designation as the "Run for the Roses," Woodford Reserve is offering two versions of a limited-edition Mint Julep cup—only 89 will be available for purchase.

A majority of the Julep cups will go for $1,000 each and feature a gold-plated and hand-engraved medallion of a Thoroughbred in the traditional Kentucky Derby rose garland. And just 10—the Royal Rose cups, gold-plated with a hand-engraved sterling-silver medallion—are available for $2,000 each.

Proceeds from its sales will benefit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Center, which helps support retired racehorses.
