Sorry guys — this month, it’s all about the ladies. As such, we’ve teamed up with Ladies of American Distilleries (LOAD) for The LOADed Cocktail Passport, your ticket to tipples at some of the city’s best drinking dens where big deal females are playing some big deal roles. THE HIGH GARDEN at POCO
Upon entering the doors at this East Village hangout, opt for the High Garden, a shaken concoction of Dorothy Parker Gin, Aperol, cucumber, lime, and salt. “With this drink we’re paying tribute to the revolutionary Dorothy Parker, who paved the way for so many of us,” says managing partner Sara Grizzle. “Her fast wit was crisp and clean, but it could also sting — the Aperol represents her bite.”

THE ASTORIA BOUND at ROUGE TOMATE
Inspired by the classic Bee’s Knees cocktail, bartender Cristian Molina called upon Queen’s Courage Old Tom Gin for the Astoria Bound, a shaken sipper that’s poured into a Nick and Nora glass before being gussied up with a violet. Except everything you could possibly wish for in a spring-forward sipper — i.e. floral, floral, floral.

THE KITCHEN SINK at HANDCRAFT
You’re in good hands at this Kips Bay bar, where the team is serving up anything from their cocktail menu in tandem with the Passport this time around. Small batch spirits are the name of the game here, and they take on the form of everything from bourbon punch and old fashioneds, to mules and Manhattans.

THE PRINCESS ZELDA at JOHN DOE
Head to this neighborhood joint for a sampling of small plates and creative spins on the classics, from a New Fashioned to rum-laced sangria. Passport in tow, it’s all about the Princess Zelda (isn’t it always?), a frothy melding of Queen’s Courage Old Tom Gin, citrus, vermouth, and egg white.

THE CHINATOWN DAIQUIRI at SLOWLY SHIRLEY
Head to this subterranean cocktail haunt for a handful of classic and contemporary libations alike amongst Art Deco décor and on point service. Don’t miss the Chinatown Daiquiri, bartender Garret Richard’s twist on the traditional that’s topped off with a fortune cookie for good measure — and good luck
