BOOZING WITH BENEFITS: 4 HEALTHY COCKTAILS

Here at BoozeMenus we don’t do Sober January but we can help kick your 2016 into gear with some healthy concoctions so you can booze without the guilt. Whether you like whisky, rum, vodka, or gin, here are 4 cleansing cocktails packed with healthy vitamins, garnishes, elixirs, and detoxifying agents.
NYChai-Tea Toddy
Created by Pamela Wiznitzer, Seamstress NY, New York, NY
1 ½ parts Maker’s 46
2 ½ parts Harney & Sons Winter White Earl Grey
1 part almond milk (at room temperature)
½ part Bénédictine
½ part honey syrup*
Nutmeg for garnish
* Combine 1 cup local New York honey and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
Stir ingredients in a mixing glass and pour in a Hot Toddy glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
BENEFITS: Earl Grey tea is packed with antioxidants; it both energizes and relieves stress. Almond Milk is low in fat and calories, high in calcium, and lactose free.
COOLER THAN A CUCUMBER

1.5 oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
1 oz Cucumber juice
0.5 oz Aloe juice
0.5 oz Grapefruit juice
0.5 oz Texas Tarragon syrup
2 oz Prosecco
Build ingredients over crushed ice a 12 oz Collins glass. Stir well to incorporate ingredients. Garnish with a tarragon leaf, cucumber slice and serve with a straw.

APPLE CIDER LIGHT & SHIFTY
2 oz Caliche Rum
2 oz Apple Cider (1/2 pressed apple)
2 oz Be Mixed Zero-Calorie & Sugar Free “Margarita” Cocktail Mixer
3 slices muddled fresh ginger
Dash ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Shake all ingredients over ice until well chilled. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Garnish with apple wedge.

3 parts club soda
2 lime wedges
Cucumber slices
Build in a glass with ice. Squeeze in juice from one lime wedge and discard it. Add GREY GOOSE Le Melon, top with chilled soda and garnish with lime and cucumber.
BENEFITS: This twist on the Vodka Soda packs in the flavor while keeping the calories at bay. Cucumbers are hydrating and are packed with vitamin B and electrolytes.
