Today is National Coffee Day, and how can you avoid a coffee drink? Especially on a warm fall day!

I decided to make a coffee drink to “warm up.” I started to do some research on different cocktails and decided to riff on THE MAD MAC by Gavin McMonigle, Piss & Vinegar, Philadelphia. I loved the sound of having ice cream in my drink.

Coffee Delite

2 oz. Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey

1 oz. Tia Maria

2 scoops ice cream

Hard shake all ingredients in a tin with crushed ice. strain into 6 oz. Irish coffee glass or rocks glass and serve.
