Our hometown of Medina, NY is proudly situated among the pride of our region - apple orchards. Every season the cocktails and desserts at our cocktail bar transform the harvest into the most exquisite presentation of fall flavor. This year, Scott is playing with a few new ideas.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE - an homage to the hard work of our small businesses in Medina, and this cocktail leans heavily on all of the ingredients of our local farmers.
1.5 oz. Chai tea infused Bourbon, 1 oz apple cider, .5 oz red wine, .5 oz Honey syrup, .5 oz lemon juice. Shaken and poured over ice.
Scott is also playing with this new cocktail, "Her Grandfather Ran the Press"
1 oz apple brandy, 1 oz lillet blanc, .5 oz peppercorn syrup, .5 oz lemon juice. Shaken, double strained in a coupe.
And we can't forget a very easy spin on one of our staple cocktails - the G&T:
1.5 gin, .5 cider syrup, top with tonic. Pour over ice, thyme and apple slice garnish.
We aren't rushing summer, but it will be lovely to cozy up with harvest cocktails this fall! Cheers!
