Quality tweed fabric and a delightfully smoky glass of whisky are among Scotland’s crowning achievements as a nation. And if you’re Johnnie Walker, you believe those national prides are best enjoyed as one.

A collaboration between tweed-maker Harris Tweed Hebrides and the Scotch whisky label has yielded a fabric that permanently retains the smell of Johnnie Walker Black Label. The microencapsulated, malty sweet scent is named “Aqua Alba,” and it can survive dry-cleaning—though we’re not so sure it would do well in a washing machine. Appropriately, the colors of the tweed match the colors of the ingredients in the Scotch: yellow, black, red and green.

Johnnie Walker says the fabric has “key notes of the nose of the liquid,” including “golden vanilla, red fruit and dark chocolate tones.” Additionally, Angelos Bratis, the Italian clothing designer, has plans to work with the textile in a new fashion line.

Because prices have yet to be set for the fabric, it looks like your boozed-up blazer will have to wait until next holiday season. Read more about the malty tweed over at CNET.
