The combination of Scotch and Drambuie has been well known for decades as the Rusty Nail. For a more herbal accent, we added Bénédictine liqueur along with two dashes of Fee Brothers black walnut bitters. We chose Glenmorangie whisky for its fruity nature which is complemented well by the nutty bitters. Take your time and enjoy this one.
- 2 oz. Scotch
- .5 oz Drambuie
- .5 oz Bénédictine
- 2 dashes Walnut Bitters
- 1 Maraschino cherry
- Fill a rocks glass with ice.
- In a mixing glass, stir the scotch, Bénédictine, Drambuie and bitters together.
- Pour the mixture over the ice in the rocks glass, and garnish with the cherry.
