With summer in full swing and July 4th approaching, celebrate Independence Day with red, white and whiskey! A perfect time for gathering with friends and family, celebration, and of course, a little fun, 4th of July wouldn’t be complete without the perfect summer cocktail to raise a glass with.

This year, Jack Daniel’s has enlisted the help of top Los Angeles mixologist Eric “ET” Tecosky as well as the Richmond Virginia Bartender Alliance to create proper cocktails for celebrating ‘MERICA, as well as to enjoy all summer long. Made with easy-to-find ingredients for re-creating at home, these drinks are perfect to kick back and toast to Uncle Sam:

Ingredients:
10 oz Jack Daniel’s Gentleman Jack
10 oz watermelon juice (blend fresh watermelon and fine strain)
5 oz fresh lemon juice
5 oz simple syrup
3 oz water

Directions:
Add all ingredients into a soda bottle. Carbonate per directions of machine. Keep in refrigerator and serve with ice and lemon when ready.
