My Bucket Year

In yet another act of self-reinvention I left the the world of being a brand ambassador in the spirits industry in favor of being a free spirit (for the moment) during my bucket year. I might have invented that term - well, probably not - though not its essence. I am happy, healthy and have too many empty pages in my passport. I devour freedom, and gluten, in all its forms. This is a time when I can be blissfully self-focused in our career-focused society and venture out into the world. My goal is to be a tall tale in my future grandchildren’s eyes, but until then I will fill my cup with all the adventure that the world promises. A studious learner and voracious consumer of all things flavorful (food! drinks!) you will find me at the local pub, at the distillery poking my nose in a glass, and tapping on the kitchen window asking the chef in the kitchen if I can come learn to make pasta in the morning. I have been told that I am now an ambassador of smiling and I intend to uphold that wherever in the world you might stumble across me.
