Two readers love this post.
This cocktail is a variation of the classic Brazilian drink the Caipirinha and is a creation of Jacob Grier of Metrovino in Portland, OR. The Caip-beer-inha is the pretty much the same drink with the addition of some IPA beer. The beer adds a nice, robust flavor to the drink while still keeping it light.

1 tablespoon sugar
2oz cachaça
1oz Ninkasi Total Domination IPA
Quarter the lime and add to the shaker. Add the sugar and then muddle. Add the cachaça and ice and shake. Pour all ingredients into a rocks glass and top with the IPA beer. Give it a quick stir to incorporate.
