There is nothing dreamier than enjoying a beer by the campfire on a chilly Fall night. Add to that some s’mores and you pretty much have reached Autumn perfection. So with that heavenly night in mind, I have created the Campfire Stout Cocktail. Chocolate stout, bourbon, crème de cassis, and marshmallow fluff combines for a nostalgic and uniquely delicious beer cocktail.
Although the final drink looks complicated, it is quite easy to whip up. Let’s walk through it together, shall we? Dip the rim of the beer glass in melted chocolate (or your favorite chocolate spread!) and then immediately dip it in a bowl of crushed graham cracker cookies.
Add 1 ½ ounces of bourbon and ½ ounce of crème de cassis to the glass.
Top off with the whole bottle of chocolate stout.
Add a heaping dollop of marshmallow fluff to the top and take your decadent creation to the fireside, my friends!
There you have it! A dessert-inspired beer cocktail for Autumn enjoyment. For more whimsical drink recipes, visit The Frosted Petticoat. Happy Fall!
