I love San Francisco summers. I love the hot afternoons, the cool breeze off the bay, and the fact that there is little to no humidity. I know, people are usually “freezing” when they come visit. It’ll be 75 and sunny during the day, and then drop 20 degrees after the sun goes down.
I recently whipped up the following drink for Kendall and me on one of these hot afternoons. Simple, cool, and refreshing; perfect for summertime! We were kind of addicted to the cocktail, so I continued making them for us into the night. It was only 55 degrees out, but this was still the perfect drink—it cooled us off while we were keeping warm next to the grill.
