Aperol gives this drink a tinge of red orange bitterness, while green Chartreuse provides a strong herbal flavor with an anise kick.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz cognac
- ½ oz Aperol
- ¼ oz green Chartreuse (or an atomizer filled with it)
- 1 dash Peychaud’s bitters
- 1 lemon twist
INSTRUCTIONS
Rinse a chilled rocks glass with the Chartreuse, then add the cognac, Aperol, and bitters. Add one large ice cube or a few smaller cubes, stir briefly, garnish with the twist, and serve.
