Pantone has officially announced its 2016 Color(s) of the Year- one of which is, Rose Quartz. This perfectly pink hue embodies a, “warm, yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure."

We’re already seeing this color drenched on runways and trotting it's way into home decor. However, what better way to embrace the 2016 Color of the Year than to drink it in?!

In honor of Pantone’s Color of the Year, several of California's top bars, restaurants and luxury hotels have developed gorgeous rose-colored cocktails for colorful sipping.

1) Popular Demands

Harrah’s Resort Southern California - Greater San Diego Area

This cocktail is aptly named, Popular Demands, as it’s a repeated guest favorite. Constructed with strawberry rhubarb-infused vodka, Pavan, lime, basil lemon syrup and served in a classic coupe glass this sip is one you'll want to try again and again. (image above)

2) Bellini Sol

Splashes at Surf and Sand Resort - Laguna Beach

The Bellini Sol is inspired by Pantone's 2016 Color of the Year, Rose Quartz. The perfectly pink cocktail is made with sparkling prosecco, fresh peach puree, and a peach salt rim. The perfect blend of tart and sweet.

3) The Stingling

Vin De Syrah - San Diego

You'll feel like you're wearing rose colored glasses when you sip, The Stingling- a specialty cocktail made with St. Germain, bruised grapes and topped with brut cava.

4) Strawberry Basil Gimlet

This gorgeously refreshing cocktail is made with strawberry basil-infused Tito's vodka, Galliano, lemon, Small Hand Foods gum syrup and topped off with a fresh basil leaf.
