5 Traditional (And a Few Not So Traditional) Cinco de Mayo Cocktails That'll Knock Your Sombrero Off

Five readers love this post.
This weekend is May 5th and that means 2 things: 1. Star Wars geeks worldwide will be sleeping off their "May the Fourth" Star Wars Day hangovers, and 2. It's time to grab some tequila and celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
There hasn't been a better excuse to down some of your favorite blue agave spirit since finals week ended your senior year of college. And in between the 7-layer guacamole dip and piñata smashing, we suggest you try a couple of these Cinco de Mayo cocktails.
They're not all tequila based either. Since we've adopted this holiday as one of our own, it was only natural we throw in a few recipes with a little homegrown twist. That way, should your tequila supply run low, you can mix up a perfectly acceptable Cinco drinko with vodka, gin or even bourbon. Ole indeed.
