Sending off the 2013 Swedish summertime tradition

ABSOLUT STUGA [ab-suh-loot stoo-gah] finally makes its way into Denver tonight as the final stop in its 16-city tour to present their modern twist on a classic Swedish summertime tradition. In a place where friends, food, and ABSOLUT are shared in celebration of the local bartending community, you can bet hosting restaurant and cocktail bar Ace will be filled with some pretty influential names in the local and national bartending community. With previous cities that included Seattle, San Francisco on the left, and Boston, Philadelphia and DC on the right, The Bon Vivants have claimed that, “ABSOLUT’s true allure lies both in its contemporary craft cocktail importance, as well as it’s sense of pop culture nostalgia.”

The culture of cocktails and the forward progressors of the bar community have been united by The Bon Vivants many times before.  Earlier this summer, the team partnered up with the KIPP Charter Schools to produce Pig & Punch in New Orleans at Tales of the Cocktail. The unification of influencers is one of their best capabilities and tonight will be no different. Denver’s Sean Kenyon of Williams & Graham has signed on to host tonight’s ABSOLUT STUGA event with recognized barplayers Chris Patino and Jamie Gordon. Denver’s excitement levels have risen from behind the bars as it gears up to STUGA out and send off the ABSOLUT tour with a bang until next April, when the tour begins once more in 2014.
