Bar Keeper
Bar Keeper moved locations and I finally made it to the new store. And it’s beautiful! It’s so spacious and well organized. You can find all your home bar needs there.

I immediately zoomed over to the bitters bar and tasted some locally-made ones like Drunken Crane bitters. Find every flavor you can imagine plus your trusty Angostura bitters.

I also adore all the vintage glassware at Bar Keeper. And there are some fun naughty ones from yesteryear.

Summer is coming and that means picnics! I usually pack my Minty popup bar up for fun nights at the Hollywood Bowl. Mini bottles of vermouth will come in handy.

And speaking of vermouth, I happened in on a tasting in the back room. I tried Lo-Fi aperitifs from Napa Valley. I really dug the gentian amaro. It’d be great in a spritz. I can see the sweet vermouth in a martini riff but I will have to think about the application for the dry vermouth. I almost don’t want to use it in a typical dry martini.
