INGREDIENTS:
1 oz. Aperol
1/2 oz. Amaro Lucano
3/4 oz. Orange Juice
Fill with Blood Orange Soda
GARNISH :
Kumquat
PREPARATION:
This simple cocktail is great as a pre dinner drink or ‘Apertivo’ as we call it in Italy. Pour all the ingredients into a shaker add a scoop of ice and shake for 5 fast seconds. Now strain it into a chilled martini glass or a old fashioned style coupette just like in the picture.
Garnish with a mandarin orange or kumquat.
The color is a soft, translucent amber red and the nose is stimulated by the herbs and spices and notes of the Amaro Lucano. The tart yet sweet flavors are so balanced they seem to dance in your mouth. Salute!

After many years of dedicated formal study in world-class service and some surprising life experiences, he traveled from Florence to the United States in 2005 to pursue his drinkable dreams. After just a few years of perseverance, Falleni is now the owner of two beautiful restaurant and bar lounges in Southern California with his life long friend and professional partner, Top Chef, Fabio Viviani.
