On this date 30 years ago,  the world lost Marvin Gaye, the award-winning American soul singer, songwriter, musician and record producer, shot dead by his own father after a heated argument. His hit songs (among many others) included I Heard It Through the Grapevine and Sexual Healing. April 2 would have been his 75th birthday.

• 1 oz. Amaretto
• 1/2 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
• 1/2 oz. Rum
• 2 oz. Cream

Stir together and pour into an iced cocktail glass.
