Cocktails: The Art of Mixing Perfect Drinks by Klaus St. Rainer. Mr. Rainer is owner and bartender at The Golden Bar in Munich Germany. This is a nice book with lots of great cocktail recipes and some good advice too, (*Apologies for mispronouncing Mr. Rainer's name! It is corrected later in the show! Thanks to Stefan Giesbert for straightening things out!
Cocktail of the Week:
Smooth Criminal
(Bartender Journey variation)
From our Book of the Week
  • 1 Large Chunk Fresh Pineapple - Grilled
  • 1 ¾ oz Dad's Hat Rye
  • 2 tsp Orange Curacao
  • 1 tsp Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
  • 1 tsp Simple Syrup
  • 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
  • Muddle the Pineapple. Add remaining ingredients. Shake with ice. Double strain into a Highball glass filled with Fresh Ice. Garnish with a piece of grilled Pineapple and a sprig of mint.
