We were just talking about Thanksgiving, weren’t we? Now the first week of December is almost gone, and the clock is ticking once more for the next round of holiday madness. Keep your spirits up with one of these holiday cocktails.
1. Candy Cane Martini
Cooking Light featured this recipe that combines vanilla vodka with white crème de cacao and peppermint schnapps. It’s like drinking an alcoholic Peppermint Patty.
2. Champagne Punch
Between Naps on the Porch claims this festive punch is perfect for a Christmas or New Year’s Eve party and we have to agree. It looks as pretty as it tastes delicious.
3. Jolly Old Elf
We couldn’t resist the name of this cocktail featured on Celebrations at Home. All you need are three ingredients: Amaretto, cranberry juice and champagne.
4. Cranberry Ginger Fizz Cocktail
Creative Culinary combines fresh cranberries, gin and chilled ginger ale with some other ingredients for fizzy results.
5. Cranberry Bourbon Fizz
If fizzy is your jam, then check out this recipe from our friends over at Smarty Had a Party, which combines cranberries, star anise (nice!) and seltzer water with 2 ounces of bourbon and a splash of grenadine. That’s good. Fizzy good.
6. Classy Christmas Cocktail
Fab Housewife had as at “pear vodka.” Classy and refreshing.
7. Poinsettia Cocktail
Food Network featured this holiday cocktail, which combines vodka with champagne.
8. Winter Sea Breeze Holiday Cocktail
This cocktail from Catch My Party looks like winter in a glass. It’s probably thanks to the grapefruit juice and the dozen pomegranate seeds that look like tiny ornaments.
9. Fig Thyme Cocktail
This cocktail from Honestly Yum is honestly gorgeous and delicious. If you can get your hands on some figs, make this drink posthaste. Cheers!
10. Cranberry Sparkler Mocktail
Here’s a pretty mocktail from Thistlewood Farms that combines cranberry, orange, pineapple and lemon juice with ginger ale. No alcohol in this one, for our friends who cannot or prefer not to have it.
11. Christmas Grinch Lime Sherbet Punch
And last but certainly not least, we got a kick out of this Grinch lime sherbet punch from Wishes and Dishes. Another alcohol-free concoction, it includes 2 liters of Sprite, 7-Up or ginger ale. We recommend sticking with the ginger ale, especially since it includes enough sweet ingredients.
