Today is day 2 of Martini Week over at Beautiful Booze! I love making a strong martini on a weekday to unwind from a stressful day. Having one good martini is a great way to have a happy hour at home with little to no effort. During the wintertime it is fun to experiment with seasonal flavors like citrus. Today I am sharing a citrus inspired recipe that I made with stuff I found in my refrigerator. I had a lime and some maraschino cherries so I decided to make a sweet and tangy martini last night. I got inspiration to make this cocktail from dreaming about summertime and cherry limeade. This strong version really hit the spot to cure my wintertime blues. What is your favorite wintertime martini?
