Using Angostura Bitters Sugar Cubes and Cherry Bourbon, this version of the Old Fashioned was developed as a Father's Day recipe for the Thermomix. You can use your blender with similar results.
The Angostura Sugar Cubes take a little bit of effort, but they are great gifts and last well in the Pantry.
You need just two ingredients and a little bit of time, but you will feel pretty fancy once you achieve it.

Half cup sugar (i have used raw sugar here but you can substitute for our preferred)
1 tablespoon Angostura Bitters
Method
Add sugar and bitters to your TM bowl.
Mix on speed 3 for 10 seconds
Spoon into chocolate moulds or miniature ice cube trays and pack down with the back of a teaspoon.

Allow to cool for 30 minutes before turning out and storing in an airtight jar.
