Chinatown: Santa Barbara’s Hitching Post 2 comes to LA Wine Saturday, August 11 for a BBQ Pop-up

I, like many others, first heard about Hitching Post 2 from the movie Sideways. And yet in my few travels to the Central Coast region, I never made it to this Santa Barbara (Buellton, really) restaurant which is known for its Santa Maria-style barbeque.
Luckily, HP2 will be in Los Angeles for one night only on Sunday, August 11. They’re popping up at LA Wine, the new wine bar in Chinatown. HP2 will be bringing its BBQ rig to cook its famous ‘que over a red oak fire.
Starting at 5 p.m. until sold out, HP2 will be serving everything from burgers to corn quesadillas. I’m super excited about the artichokes. And LA Wine will be pairing all the food with Hitching Post wines including Hometown Pinot Noir.
