Start a new chapter in your libation book

This delightfully sweet and sour rum cocktail comes courtesy of our friends at Ink and Elm, North Druid Hills’ newest craft cocktail destination. I don’t typically do rum cocktails outside of the usual mojito when the mood strikes, but I was pleasantly surprised by the intensely complex and highly crafted mix of 10 Cane Rum and Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur with I&E’s unique selection of housemade bitters.
 

A Little Bit Hemingway

• 1 3/4 oz 10 Cane Rum
• 3/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
• 3/4 oz Housemade grapefruit lime cordial (Directions to make that here)
• 1/2 oz Lime juice
• 1/2 oz Grapefruit Juice
• Dash of Proprietary I&E grapefruit and pear bitters
• Garnish with a lime wheel and cherry

Combine all spirits into your mixing glass. Ice. Shake. And serve in chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lime wheel and cherry.
