Cocktail sliders – thank god someone finally thought of it! Besides socializing going out for cocktails is about interesting taste experiences and a slider menu lets you have more of those for the price of one. That’s a winning bet if you ask us.

On the signature list at Le Moutin Noir you find the slider menu “Tales of the black sheep” with three smaller drinks servings created by the shepard himself AJ Major.

The three drinks are served with a cartoon as coaster offering af little black sheep tale for each drink. In short this is a little cocktail odyssey taking the black sheep from a molecular mixology science bar through a classic Danish bodega to Le Mouton Noir where a wonderful mix of beer and whisky makes him feel right at home.

Deconstruced cuba libra
2 cl Velvet falernum
2 cl Diplomatico anejo
1 drop of angostura Stir to chill. Serve from a mixing glass with dry ice.
Small bodega beer serving
Well… beer. No method except for having a cigarette or two while pouring it.

Whisky & beer
Brown ale
Egg white
3 dashes of Mozart chocolate bitters
Honey and ginger syrup
Black Bush Irish whisky

Shake all ingredients except for the whisky for foam. Pour the foam in a frozen glass and long pour the black bush whiskey in after.

These are wonderful little servings. Even the bodega beer if you accept it as it’s intended. It’s almost certain you’re not gonna like it! But you wouldn’t like a stale beer in a smoky bodega – so everything is as it should be.

Hopefully we’ll see more of those slider menus popping up around other cocktail bars in Copenhagen soon.
