Cocktail to drink right now: In The Shade

One reader loves this post.
When choosing a cocktail from a drink list I typically shy away from the ones in champagne flutes. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll gladly do the unlimited mimosa thing when it’s time for weekend brunch, but I like a big cocktail when getting a meal.
This one may be a bit of an exception, partially because it contains a spirit with some heft, with the inclusion of Nolet gin. You’ve also got prosecco in the mix to make it light and refreshing. You might even want to play with trying a different gin to give it an herbal mix (I love St. George Spirits‘ Terroir gin, and their Botanivore is a close second).
This cocktail comes from my friends at The Albert in the Inman Park section of Atlanta. You’ll find tons of shops, restaurants, and you’re only a few blocks from the city’s newest jewel, the multi-use recreation trail known as the Atlanta Beltline. Perfect for walking off your cocktail and indulging in a Diner Burger or two. Check out a snapshot of the burger on Savory Exposure.
