Cocktails for the Fall – 10 Favorite Fall Recipes

When the weather is changing colder, football is on TV, and the holidays approach, drinking is inevitable. But since summer is over it is time to try drinks that are made for just this occasion.
Here is a list I made of the most popular cocktails for the fall, enjoy.
Hard Cider Sangria
- 1 oz Apple Brandy
- 3 oz Apple Juice (Chilled)
- 3 oz Hard Apple Cider
- Juice of half a Lemon
- Pour Apple Brandy, Apple Juice, and Lemon Juice over ice. Top with Apple Cider
- Garnish: 2 thinly sliced apple slices inside with the drink
Hot Mulled Cider
- 2 oz Dark Rum
- 1 cup of Fresh Apple Cider
- 1/2 an orange sliced thinly with peel on
- 1 Clove
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- Over low heat combine all ingredients in a sauce pan for 10 minutes, strain into mug
- Garnish: Cinnamon Stick
Amberjack
- 2 oz Apple Vodka
- 1/2 oz Scotch Whiskey
- 1/2 Calvados
- Juice of 1/2 a Lime
- 1 oz Apple Lambic
- In a shaker tin filled with ice add all ingredients, stir gently until chilled, pour into martini glass
- Garnish: Apple slice
Pear Sour
- 2 oz Pear Brandy
- 2 oz Pear Nectar
- Juice of 1/2 a Lemon
- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
- Add all ingredients into Shaker Tin with ice and shake til chilled; Strain into Martini Glass
- Garnish: Pear Slice
Autumn Leaves
- 1 oz Drambuie
- 1 oz Pisco
- 1/4 oz Campari
- Juice of 1/4 of a Lime
- Add all ingredients in Shaker Tin filled with ice; Shake and Strain into Martini Glass
- Garnish: Lime Twist & Orange Wedge
Pear of Desire
- 1 oz Citrus Vodka
- 3/4 oz Licor 43
- 1 oz Pear Nectar
- 1/2 oz Cream Soda
- 1 oz Ginger Ale
- Add all ingredients except Ginger Ale to Shaker Tin with ice; Gently stir til chilled; Strain into Martini Glass; Top with Ginger Ale
- Garnish: Pear Slice
The Afterlife
- 2 oz Partida Reposado Tequila
- 1/2 oz Frangelico
- Juice of 1/2 a Lemon
- 1 oz Chile Piquin-Cinnamon Syrup
- 2 Dashes Woodward Bitters
- Shake all ingredients in Shaker Tin; Strain over ice in Rocks glass
- Garnish: Lemon Wheel
Pumpkin Pie
- 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 oz Vanilla Vodka
- 3 Tablespoons Pumpkin Puree (Pumpkin pie filling)
- Add all ingredients in Shaker Tin with ice; Shake vigorously until mixed; Pour a little Baileys on the bottom of the glass; Then strain the Shaker Tin on the inside of the Martini Glass to layer
- Garnish: Grated Cinnamon & Raspberry
Caraway Rye Cocktail
- 2 oz Caraway-Infused Rye Whiskey
- Juice of 1/2 a Lemon
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 3 Dashes of Celery Bitters
- Club Soda
- Shake all ingredients in Shaker Tin except for Club Soda; Strain over ice in a Rocks Glass; Top with Club Soda
- Garnish: Lemon Twist
Red Grape & Coconut Refresher
- 2 oz Vodka
- 2 oz unsweetened Coconut Water
- 2 oz Champagne
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 3 Seedless Red Grapes (Halved)
- Muddle the Grapes and Brown Sugar in a Pint Glass; Add Vodka, Coconut Water, and crushed ice; Shake with a Shaker Tin until mixed; Pour into tall glass; Top with Champagne
