Denver’s Most Imaginative Bartender
Moving on to represent in Vegas in September
Bombay Sapphire packed the house last night with their Most Imaginative Bartender Competition presented with GQ at EDGE at the Four Seasons Hotel. With a room filled with the sexiest crowd of bartenders and our hottest barfriends, they created quite a metropolitan affair. The competition hosted three rounds of inspiring bartenders, both new and experienced, to showcase their Bombay Sapphire cocktails for judging. Through three rounds of bartenders across an array of Denver area establishments, Allison Widdecombe of William’s & Graham took home the title and will move on to compete in for the national title.
The peoples’ choice was awarded to Ben Anderson of The Corner Office, a personality that has been active in the competition circuit in recent months. Allison’s creation, The Sage of Bombay, called for Bombay Sapphire, Dimmi Liquore di Milano, and Dom Benedictine Liqueur, with fresh lime and honey syrup, with hibiscus flower water and fresh sage. Allison has been heating up in most recent months with her recent landing in Denver with William’s and Graham. If she isn’t on your radar by now, it’s still not too late, she will represent Denver in the Las Vegas nationals in September, which is a qualifier to compete globally across seas.
