The spirits business is equal parts hard work and hard play.

Alcohol requires moderation, but of course, we sometimes tend toward overindulgence. Bartenders, in particular, forget about the demands of the job. Not just the frequent drinks, but also the drain on one’s body and mind. At Tales of the Cocktail, The Perfect Purée will be offering their Rise & Shine Morning Smoothie Bar with drinks created by Natalie Bovis, the Liquid Muse to remedy just this sort of this situation.

The pairing is a natural one, given Perfect Purée’s commitment to healthy living and Bovis’s involvement in several days of Mind, Body, Spirit workshops at Tales.

As Bovis explains, “The Perfect Purée smoothies I created are a yummy and healthful way to start a busy day of work and play. They incorporate nut milk, fruit purees, and juices to energize and balance the cocktail samplings throughout the week.”

The Healthy Living seminars will be on a first come, first serve basis, Thursday through Saturday from 9 am till 10:30 am. The Smoothie Bar will be held in the Hotel Monteleone lobby in the mornings.

“The Perfect Purée has been a wonderful partner in Mind, Body, Spirit(s),” enthuses Bovis.

“In addition to their delicious purees to use in smoothies, they also provide yoga mats for our seminars at cocktail events including Tales of the Cocktail, Arizona Cocktail Week, and New Mexico Cocktails & Culture.
