Dia de los Muertos, a celebrated Mexican holiday, is almost here which means it’s time to start planning festivities filled with family, friends, face painting, food, and beverages. And what better way to enhance these 3,000-year-old traditions than with a delicious Dia de los Muertos themed cocktail?

Although tequila is normally associated with summer cocktails, Camarena, the most awarded tequila, is distilled through a proprietary method that blends traditional ovens and modern techniques, making this tequila one of the smoothest and best-tasting on the market and perfect in the Margarita Muerta.

Whether you’ll be participating in Halloween activities or Dia de los Muertos traditions this year, enhance the celebrations with Camarena’s Margarita Muerta!

Margarita Muerta (The Dead Margarita):

  • 1.5 oz. Camarena Silver
  • .5 oz. Blood Orange Liqueur
  • .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • .5 oz. Agave Nectar
  • 1 oz. Passion Fruit Nectar
  • 2-3 slices of Jalapeno
