With the announcement of his new Virginia Black Whiskey, Canadian rapper Drake serves as the latest Hip Hop artist to try their luck in the world of spirits. Details on this Lushworthy venture have gradually been revealed through Drake’s social media accounts and on the Virginia Black Whiskey website.

Most recently, Drizzy posted a promo video for the whiskey on Instagram. In a caption for the teaser, Drake revealed that the whiskey is “good for your soul.” That’s pretty much most whiskeys, sooo…yeah. Regardless, I’m quite intrigued by Drake’s boozy venture, which is described as “a personally selected collection of two, three and four-year old bourbons finished with a decadent profile.” Yummy.

A release date and a price point for Virginia Black Whiskey remain unknown, but I’m sure we’ll receive that info in the very near future.
