That magical day, April 15th is upon us again, and either your tax refund has long been spent or you’ve just made it to the post office to reluctantly send your check in to Uncle Sam. In either case, a relief is needed, and Bluecoat has launched a barrel aged gin to provide a nice twist to your favorite gin based cocktails. This cocktail is well worth the time to juice your orange, citrus is especially nice this time of year and you might be able to even find a few blood oranges at the grocery store for an extra kick. Bluecoat makes one of my favorite craft gins, my other standbys include Aviation from Portland and St. Terroir in the Bay Area. Cheers!
