Flower French 75

Two readers love this post.
I wanted some champagne last night but I knew I couldn’t finish the whole entire bottle. So, I decided to freeze the rest into cubes for a drink. This morning I was thinking about one of my favorite cocktails with champagne and it occurred to me that I could make a modified French 75 using the champagne cubes. The champagne cubes do lose a bit of their effervescent qualities during the freezing process but you can add some club soda to make it more bubbly if you wish. I decided to make this pretty by adding the edible flowers. If you have left over sparkling try this spin on the classic French 75! Cheers!
Recipe: Flower French 75
Ingredients
2 ounces of gin
3 ounces of simple syrup
1 lemon, juiced
4-5 frozen champagne cubes (*I had leftover champagne so I froze it into ice trays to make cubes)
Garnish: 1 tablespoon of chopped edible flowers
Instructions:
In two serving glasses divide and add gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and frozen champagne cubes.
Garnish with edible flowers
Cheers!
