Fuzzy Friday: The Daiquiri

Simple, sophisticated, and a less is more kind of a mentality. Isn’t that what we’re seeing all around us? Less is more? Minimalist?
Meet that sense of style, but in a drink. This isn’t your tropical frozen daiquiri delight that you drink poolside as you hear from the cabana bar “I Shot The Sheriff”! HA! Nope, this is a sleek, elegant, simple modern day daiquiri.

The Daiquiri
- 1/2 oz sugar syrup
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz light rum
Shake all ingredients with ice and serve either over crushed ice or on it’s own. Makes one.
It’s a breeze to make really. I used a little bit more syrup in mine because I prefer things on the sweet side, but it was yummy.
