Happy #FuzzyFriday to all my loves out there! Time to celebrate life, celebrate that we ARE alive, celebrate the sunshine, celebrate the unconditional love from our pets, and of course, celebrate our own WINS! Because it’s so many things, big or small, for us to toast to.

Today’s cocktail is my own concoction. I whipped it up and it turned out SO good. If you follow my drinks and stock your bar with some of the liquors I’ve used in the past, you should have the Citron Vodka.

This recipe calls for mixing the juice of fresh squeezed lemons and limes and homemade syrup. The rest is simple.

Zesty Lemon

• 3 oz Citron Vodka
• 2 oz lemon lime juice
• 2 oz simple syrup
• lemon for rimming the glasses
• sugar

Squeeze a lemon and a lime thoroughly and mix the 2 juices together. Set aside. Take one of the lemon halves and rub along rim of martini glass. Then rub the glasses in sugar. Set aside.

In a shaker add ice. Then add the vodka, lemon lime juice and the syrup. Shake well, then serve in martini glasses. Serves 2.

Adjust the syrup and lemon lime juice to your own liking, depending on how sweet and how tart you want it.
